BEST Books I Read in 2014

Overall, I'd say 2014 was a good reading year. I mean, I had to lower my Goodreads challenge twice (hehe) and I didn't read as many books as last year. However, I do feel like I've read better books this year, mostly due to the fact that I've become better at discerning which books I'd like and which I wouldn't.

Anyway, here are my top books of 2014! Not all of them were published this year, but I did read all of them in the past year.

Stolen Songbird (The Malediction Trilogy, #1)Crushed (Soul Eater, #2)Haze (The Rephaim, #2)Cress (The Lunar Chronicles, #3)The Winner's Curse (The Winner's Trilogy, #1)Strange and Ever After (Something Strange and Deadly, #3)

Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin, #2)BrazenRevolution

The Truth About AliceI'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls, #1)

**I binged the entire Gallagher Girls series, except the last one (and adored all of them).

What were the best books you read in 2014?

  2. Me too for The Winner's Curse, Stolen Songbird and Cress! All absolutely fantastic reads. :) And I've heard great things about The Truth About Alice - I just haven't had the courage to pick it up because of the sensitive subject matter, but this might have been just the push I needed. ;)

Thanks for the recap Summer! ♥

I loved the Winner's Curse as well! It was hands down one of my favorites of the year and I can't wait until The Winner's Crime is released! I need to know what happens to Kestrel and Arin.

  8. You're welcome, Zoe! I gave TTAA 4 stars for some reason, but it was great and handled the issue pretty well.
